Labels Are Back in the Sidebar

The Labels list is reinstated in the left nav with expand/collapse, per-label note views, rename, merge, and delete.

The Labels section has returned to the left navigation panel, sitting just below Folders where it used to live before the Deep-Ocean restyle. Here's what it does.

Browse your labels at a glance

The sidebar shows your first five labels at all times. If you have more, a More… toggle expands the full list inline. Collapse it again with the same button. The currently-active label is highlighted so you always know where you are.

Click a label to see every tagged note

Selecting a label opens a filtered note list showing every note and document that carries that tag. It works the same way as clicking a folder — the note list updates and you can open any note from there.

Rename, merge, and delete

Each label row has a context menu with Rename and Delete actions, just as before.

Renaming now handles collisions gracefully: if you rename a label to a name that already exists, Vist merges the two labels instead of showing an error. Every note tagged with the old label is re-tagged with the surviving one, duplicates are deduplicated, and the now-empty label is cleaned up automatically. No data is lost.

Scrollable sidebar

As a side effect of this work, the entire Folders + Labels region is now properly scrollable. If you have many folders or labels, you can scroll through them without the list being clipped at the bottom of the screen — the Tasks section and the Cmd+K hint stay pinned at their respective positions.
