What you get on each plan.
The bits we get asked most.
What's the Founder plan, exactly?
The Founder plan is a €5/month subscription — the same as Pro but at a lower rate, locked in for as long as you stay subscribed. If the Pro price ever rises, your Founder rate doesn't move.
It's early-adopter pricing for people who want to support the project while it's still being built by a solo founder.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes — from your account billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period, with no surprise charges.
What happens if I cancel?
Your account drops back to Free at the end of the billing period. You keep every note. If you're over the 200-note limit, nothing is deleted — you just can't create new notes until you're back under, or back on a paid plan.
You can also export everything as plain Markdown and walk away entirely. No lock-in, ever.
Where exactly is my data?
Hetzner, Falkenstein, Germany. Encrypted at rest, GDPR-compliant, processor agreement available on request. Analytics via TelemetryDeck — EU-hosted, no Google, no Meta, no tracking pixels.
Is there a refund policy?
14 days, no questions asked, on any paid plan. Email hello@usevist.dev from the address on the account. Full details on the refund page.
Start free, upgrade when you're ready.
You don't need a card to start. Most people start free and upgrade when their library grows past 200 notes.
